This application is used to submit notifications within the internal notification system of COMINFO, a.s. on the basis of Directive 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the European Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who notify infringements of the Union law and the related Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the protection of whistleblowers.
The aim of the application is to protect the whistleblower from sanctions, discrimination or other retaliatory measures, whether they are employees or other persons in a legally defined relationship with the organisation (the list of these is set out in Section 2 of the Whistleblower Protection Act). Although the app allows you to make an anonymous submission, the Whistleblower Protection Act requires that you include your name and date of birth (or other information from which the identity of the whistleblower can be inferred, such as a unique employee number) on the submission. If the identity of the person is not established, he or she may not be provided with the level of whistleblower protection required by the law.
All submissions made via the application will only be forwarded to the relevant persons who meet the requirements of the Whistleblower Protection Act (in particular Section 10 of the Act).
The competent person shall then inform the notifier of the receipt of the notification and of the results of the assessment of its validity and, following this, of the adoption of appropriate measures to remedy or prevent the infringement.
If you wish to notify the relevant person in person, you can request this via the app.
As an alternative to the internal notification system, you can use the external notification system operated by the Ministry of Justice:
